Bereavement counselling
Bereavement counselling, online and in person
Grief can touch every part of life. It can bring sadness, but also anger, guilt, numbness or relief, sometimes all in the same day. There is no right way to grieve, and no timetable for it.
Bereavement counselling gives you time and space to talk about the person who has died, and about how you are coping, with someone who will listen.
Who bereavement counselling can help
You may find it helpful if:
- Someone close to you has died, recently or long ago
- The death was sudden, or followed a long illness
- You are struggling with feelings like anger or guilt
- Grief is affecting your sleep, work or health
- You feel you must stay strong for others
What we can work on together
- Talking about the person who died and your relationship with them
- Making sense of the feelings that come with grief
- Getting through the hardest days
- Adjusting to life without them, at your own pace
I trained in bereavement counselling with Cruse Bereavement Support and volunteered with them for four years.

Will I have to talk about the death in detail?
Only if you want to. You decide what we talk about.
Can I attend online?
Yes, from anywhere in India. In-person sessions are in Palakkad.
Are sessions confidential?
Yes, within limits I’ll explain at your first appointment, such as a serious risk of harm to you or someone else.
