Mindfulness training and MBCT, one-to-one and in groups

Mindfulness is about paying attention to the present moment, on purpose, with curiosity and kindness rather than judgement. Through simple practices such as guided meditation, breathing and body scans, you learn to notice what is happening in your mind and body before it carries you away.

Sessions can also include techniques from mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), which brings mindfulness and CBT together.

Who mindfulness can help

Whether you are new to it or have tried meditation before, people often come to:

  • Manage stress, worry or anxiety
  • Sleep better and switch off
  • Focus more easily at work or in their studies
  • Respond to difficult moments more calmly

What you will learn

  • Short guided meditations for everyday use
  • Breathing practices for when stress builds
  • Body scans to notice and release tension
  • Ways to spot unhelpful thinking patterns, drawing on MBCT

Mindfulness for organisations

I run mindfulness programmes for workplaces, from a single introductory session to a longer course, online or in person. Each is shaped around your team, to help people manage stress, focus better and support each other. When you book, choose “Corporate or team mindfulness”.
